LaTrice Davis, MSW (known as Elle) - Working to Elevate Lives

founder

Hey there! I’m Elle, and if there’s one thing I know how to do, it’s turn challenges into opportunities for growth. My journey? It’s all about resilience, purpose, and finding the silver linings. Whether I’m working with dynamic organizations or everyday heroes, I’m committed to helping people and teams maximize their potential, find their connectedness, and live life with intention.

I’ve spent more than two decades in the nonprofit world, rolling up my sleeves to create programs, forge partnerships, and develop leaders who want to make a real difference. My work is rooted in helping others live out their values while becoming the best version of themselves. From training and facilitation to strategic planning and fundraising, I’ve had the pleasure of helping organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs, Polished Pebbles, and Phalanx Family Services secure over $20 million in grant funding. Now, harnessing that energy towards leadership development.

My superpower? Seeing the big picture and bringing people together to make it all happen. I’m all about connecting the dots—whether it’s between people, ideas, or dreams. My top strengths—Connectedness, Maximizer, Ideation, Belief, and Adaptability—drive everything I do, from coaching emerging leaders to developing results-driven solutions for organizations across the nation.

As part of my own leadership growth, I’ve had the privilege of participating in two transformational leadership programs: the Chicago Foundation for Women’s Willie’s Warriors and the Latino Policy Forum’s Multicultural Leadership Academy. These experiences expanded my skills and strengthened my ability to lead with purpose and vision.

But let me tell you, my first love has always been kids. Nothing lights me up like helping underserved youth tap into their potential, which is why I poured eight years into the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago. And even when life threw me curveballs, like being downsized, I didn’t let it stop me. I took it as my cue to step into something bigger and launched The Ellevate Group, LLC in 2009. My consulting firm specializes in empowering professionals with interactive training, coaching, and development solutions that leave a lasting impact.

I hold degrees in Social Work from Creighton University and New York University. I’ve also served on boards like the Reflections Foundation, and I’m a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., serving in the Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter.

I’m raising my incredible daughter, Simone, in the heart of Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood. Together, we’re living proof that life is what you make of it, and there’s always something beautiful waiting on the other side of resilience.
